SEFI

SEFI, the Société Européenne pour la Formation des Ingénieurs, is an international organization whose role is to foster the development of engineering education. Its 400 members, including 200 from tertiary education institutions, hail from 42 countries.
Its mission is to support and promote European engineering education by linking institutions and educators, providing services to its members, serving as an international forum, and representing the European engineering education community. [more]


PHYSICS WORKING GROUP

The SEFI Physics and Engineering Education Working Group (PWG) aims to promote discussion of the didactics of physics teaching and the role and importance of physics in engineering education. With this aim PWG organizes conferences, workshops, and seminars on a regular basis. We promote the exchange of views and networking between physics teachers at universities and colleges in different countries and with different backgrounds and experience. [more]


I3N

I3N, the Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication was granted the status of Associated Laboratory on November 16th, 2006, by the Portuguese minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, José Mariano Gago.
I3N is one of the major portuguese institutions in the area of nanosciences and nanotechnologies. [more]


CIDTFF

Research Centre “Didatics and Technology in Education of Trainers”, CIDTTF, is a research unit created in 1994 and financed by the FCT (Foundation for the Science and Technology/Ministry of Science) since 1996. located at the Department of Education (DE) of the University of Aveiro (UA). The main rationale underlying its creation was the need to examine interface of the didactics/technology of specific subject areas (Chemistry, English, Portuguese…) with teacher education and supervision.
